What a Difference Four Days Makes

We had a great weekend at my parent's house. It was kind-of the last weekend of summer for us, although the weather was very fall like. I love the lake in the brisk fall temps just as much as summer. Cooper has changed so much since last blog. As you can see by one of these pictures, he's sitting in my bathroom sink. I was trying to get ready to go to Okoboji on Thursday and he just wanted my attention. So, I stuck him in the sink while I finished my hair. It seemed to do the trick, he was quite happy. I didn't trust his sitting ability on our tile floor. Well, 4 days later, he's a pro. He's sitting for very long stretches and even has a new move. He sits, rocks himself until he flips forward onto his belly, rolls over and laughs his little head off. He is also loving the food thing. He actually lunges at his food, which makes feeding him a challenge. Today, we introduced sweet potatoes. He was such a mess, that I said,"what the heck, here's the bowl kid, finish it off." You would have thought I gave him his first set of car keys. He was thrilled. He went straight from the high chair to the sink for a bath!
