"Mommy, you should blog this."

Layla is very into "stories." She loves it when we make them, when she overhears us telling them to other adults and when she can make up her own to tell US. So, she has one about a 4 wheeler that she has been telling us the last few days. And, like a good parent, every time she tells it we laugh and tell her how clever she is. Well today she called me on it and basically told me to put my money where my mouth is. When I told her she was a great story teller she replied, "Well mommy, you should blog it." I had actually never heard her say the word blog much less use the word in the correct context. So, here is Layla's story (verbatim).

"I was going about on the 4wheeler. The tire was going down. I was going to the bushes and was going on the 4 wheeler and Dad said the tire is going down. There was something in the bushes and I thought to myself, 'what could that be?' And it was Sam and Henry pretending to play a trick on me. I thought they were a lion and it wasn't. It was my cousins. And we laughed and laughed and laughed at my good story."
