How Old Are You?

Yes, this is Layla at the pool on Friday. I have a friend whose children are old enough to play at the pool by themselves. This means she gets to sit in the sun and read People. When she was finished, she gave me the magazine to read. At the time, I was about to feed Cooper and just layed it to the side. When I looked over at Layla, this is what I saw. Seriously, how old are you child? You seem to mature a year with every week! As I write this email she's laying in her bed trying to take a nap. I hear her practicing her letters, their sounds and encouraging herself along the way. She just said, " 'D' sss, sss, sss like Dog. Good job, good job!" Well, almost.
