Blogging Probation

If there were a court system for blogging, I would be on probation! As I download photos from both cameras, I realize how behind I am.

We love Christmas break! Dave takes a little time off and we get to all be together for much of the two weeks of Christmas and New Year's. During this time we go and do, with no worries about bed times and school/work schedules. This year, we were able to take Cooper to his first Iowa State basketball game. Hard to believe that it has taken us so long to do this since Layla had two full seasons under her belt by his age. But, with two kids and living over an hour away, we gave up our season tickets this year.

Cooper was amazed by all that was around him and really didn't move much for the whole first half. But, by half way through the second half, he was nothing but a wiggle worm! Still, he did pretty good! Especially since the game was during nap time! We were then able to take Layla back the next weekend for a big girl night out at a girl's game....inlcuding dinner at Hickory Park!!!
