...right down to the shoes

We spent Christmas Day with the whole Handsaker clan at Grandpa and Grandma's house in Nevada. It was a wild, crazy day filled with good food, lots of gifts and playing! The highlight of the day was the angel performance which was written, produced and directed by Grandma. Cousins Paige (4), Cheyenne (4) and Layla (3) sang Jesus Loves Me, This Little Light of Mine and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. As you can see by the pictures Grandma also hand made all of the angel dresses, halos, and wings. She thought of everything, right down to the gold shoes.

The girls loved it! Honestly, although Layla was all smiles during the performance, I think she was in it for the free dress and shoes. She wears the shoes everywhere! And when we have to go out in the snow, she wears her snow boats but packs her shoes so she can change into them when we get to our destination. She also checks her closet everyday and says, "Yup, its still there, my angel dress."
